History
|
Our history began with a meeting with the Rome Clergy Association in
1990 to determine the needs in the Rome community. In 1991, the Welcome Hall Coffee
House was established, at 209 S. James Street. Due to a fire in 1996, the Welcome
Hall ministered from the First Presbyterian Church. Since February of 1998, we have
been ministering to the community from 413 E. Dominick Street. In September of 2008,
we became the Rome Rescue Mission!
